Camera Health Monitor

Camera Health Monitor automatically detects camera tampering like turning or obscuring a camera, as well as connection problems and poor picture quality. As soon as one of these conditions is fulﬁlled, an alarm is triggered.

Camera Health Monitor is used where the availability and integrity of surveillance cameras should be given at all times. Thermal and optical cameras are supported.

Functionality

Camera Health Monitor checks the speciﬁed cameras at a regular interval as follows:

Detection of connection problems by maximum response time
Recognition of camera manipulations by model of the image structure (corners)
Detection of image quality by model of image contrast or image brightness
